Following the latest announcement from the ACT Government our club will reopen on Friday 12th June.
Under current government advice outlined in stage 2.1 in the easing of restrictions within the ACT, strict limits are in place on the number of members allowed in our space. In order to adhere to strict 1.5m physical distancing requirements and to adhere to the 1 person per 4sqm rule the following applies:
Gym Floor - 20 members (no visitors)
Group Training - 8 members (no visitors)
Indoor Swimming Pool - 4 members (maximum 2 swimmers per lane and limited to x1 carer per person)
Hydrotherapy Spa - 1 member (no visitors)
Sauna & Steam Rooms - remain closed by the ACT Government & will be reviewed stage 3
ALL ENTRY into the Club and Hydro areas must be pre-booked for the time period via the Mywellness Technogym app. The Mywellness app can be downloaded via both Apple and Google app stores.
We encourage all members to download the app as this is the most efficient and effective process to book your Club or Hydro session. If you are experiencing difficulties with the new booking system please contact the Club so that we can assist you with this mandatory process.
Upon arrival into the Club you will need to check-in at the Evo concierge counter to display your pre-booked session to a member of staff. No walk-ins are allowable. This is to comply with contract tracing and stringent capacity requirements. The safety and well-being of our members, staff and guests remains our utmost priority. Strict measures are in place to support everyone's safety as we navigate this journey together.
Please note all shower and change-room facilities continue to remain closed under the ACT Health Public Health Emergency Direction. Please arrive dressed and ready to train or swim. You will need to bring your own drink bottle and towel for your session as these remain unavailable for the time being. We are hopeful these spaces will re-open as restrictions ease, however these decisions are out of our control.
Memberships will resume on Friday 12 June 2020, however our fortnightly Direct Debit (DD) billing system will not be re-activated until Thursday 25th June 2020. The final DD on 19 March 2020 provided members entry to the Club through to our closure date on 23 March 2020, meaning a pro-rata of 9 days related to the period: 24 March 2020 - 1 April 2020 (inclusive) was owed. Evo Health Club have made the decision to provide all current members a complimentary 4-day access period through to 24 June 2020.
Evo Health Club will continue to adhere and evolve in line with all current government advice.
The Club would like to share our wholehearted thanks for your patience and support during this challenging period.
The Team at Evo
